“It’s been a life changer, the best thing I have done this year by far. I just can’t stress how wonderful it’s all been – weight off your shoulders wonderful. I’ve enjoyed everything. I am much calmer now. I have a lot more patience and a lot more tolerance.”

“I’m feeling a lot calmer during the day, and I am enjoying the days with my kids a lot more – which is a massive win for me.
I have seen a big difference in my 4-year-old. She is calmer and is not escalating as much. There is less shouting and less resistance, which just makes for a happier household.”

"I highly recommend the Mindful Parenting Course to anyone who might be looking for ideas or tricks to make their lives easier. I was really struggling as a FIFO Wife & working full time with 2 young boys – and while life is still hectic and crazy most of the time. I feel like now I have the tools I need to help our daily life be a bit calmer and less crazy.

Nina is extremely knowledgeable and you can really tell how invested she is in the Mindful Parenting lifestyle and her passion really shines through and helped us get excited about what we were all learning and the changes we could helpfully look forward too."

"I learnt a lot and gained confidence and am now in the process of implementing new strategies into day to day life. The course made me feel that ‘no yell’ parenting was a real possibility and not just a fanciful dream.

Nina did a great job of encouraging people to contribute and creating a very non-judgmental space. The classes were really relaxed and I felt comfortable sharing and contributing.

It was really nice to meet with such a lovely group of people once a week to talk about shared challenges and learn and practise new skills and techniques."

Hi, I'm Nina, a mindful mum to three loud little boys, and a certified Mindful Parenting Coach.

Mindful parenting coach Nina Visic holds a card saying "I am calm"

Two years ago, I was a struggling mama who was feeling run down, exhausted and fed up with this 'mum life'.

I was sick of my kids not listening to me, sick of them fighting, and sick of the all the yelling coming out of my mouth.

I felt guilty every single night. Feeling like I had let myself down, let my kids down. Feeling bad about my ‘poor parenting decisions’. Not knowing how I was ever going to get out of this continual rut of guilt, yelling and negativity.

I realised that something needed to change.

I enrolled in the Mindful Parenting Course and saw changes in both myself and my kids almost immediately.

Life is now easier, quieter and calmer.

I am now more aware of my myself and my triggers. I can actually talk about my emotions.

I am better able to meet the needs of my kids because I have learnt how to better meet my own needs.

I am able to pause before reacting to a difficult situation, and consider it from all angles before reacting.

I have learnt ways to communicate with my kids so they I can better understand where they are coming from, and so that they can better understand me.

I feel more confident in my ability to raise calm, confident, empathetic, kind and compassionate children.

When the opportunity came to learn how to pass on the skills of mindful parenting to other parents, a spark flared inside me and I immediately knew that there is nothing else in this world that would be more perfect for me to pursue!

This program had such a profound impact on my life, and had such positive impacts on me and my family that I just had to share it with other parents.

I am so excited to share this transformational journey with you!

Who is this Mindful Parenting Course for?

This course is perfect for you, if you:

  • Struggle with your parenting and feel like all you do is yell at your children

  • Are constantly in a state of stress or guilt (or both)

  • Are tired of the constant battle with your children

  • Have read all the parenting books, listened to all the podcasts, but when you are in the moment, everything flies out of your head and you go back to your yelling lifestyle

  • Are ready to try something new to make positive changes in your life

  • Want your children to grow up as calm, confident, empathetic, kind and compassionate children

  • Understand that there is no quick fix, and that you need to do the work to make long lasting change in your life.

This course is not for you, if you:

  • Are happy with the status quo

  • Don’t feel any need to change your parenting style

  • Do want to change your parenting style, but you want a quick fix (and immediate obedience from your kids)

  • Do not want to commit the time required to learn and practice the skills and tools taught in this program.

Why should you enrol now and not wait until life is easier or your kids are older?

Trust me, the earlier that you can start embedding the skills and tools of the mindful parenting framework into your life, the more you and your family will benefit.

If you enrol into the course now, in one years’ time you could be calmer, yelling less, and enjoying a strong connected relationship with your children.

If you wait another year, you will still be in the same position you are in now – stressed out, guilty, angry.

Not only that, but mindfulness is so good for your children – they will benefit immensely by learning more about mindfulness and watching you practice.

"As a family we felt overwhelmed, constantly yelling and struggling to understand our emotions.

Personally I was hesitant to try this style of parenting as it is the opposite way to how I was raised - I can confidently say it was the best decision I have made for our family.

For the first time ever I am able to take a moment before reacting to whatever situation arises, to think clearly about my actions. This means I have the opportunity to coach, not control the situation and be fully present in the moment."

"It’s great doing it together as a couple. It's very intuitive and makes sense. Looking after each other and working together to be mindful is something that we’re both really excited to continue to practice.

We've already had success with talking with our son when disruptions arise and been able to deal better with meltdowns, fostering more connection, respect and understanding between us, or even get to a win-win outcome and calm place before the meltdown escalates."

It’s easy to come up with reasons why you shouldn’t enrol in this program.

“I don’t have time”

I get it, kids take up a lot of time, especially young kids! It can be so hard to find the time to prioritise yourself.

Look at it this way… the time you commit to completing this 8-week program will be paid back in spades by reducing the time spent arguing with your kids about television time, trying to persuade them to sit in their car seat or cleaning up their mess again and again and again because they won’t do it themselves.

“It’s not in my budget right now”

This program is not just an investment in you, it is an investment in your whole family, and your whole family’s happiness. What better thing to spend your money on?

“Mindfulness is for hippies”

There has been a lot of research into the positive effects that mindfulness has on our brains and ourselves. This stuff isn’t just mumbo jumbo, and you won’t be singing ‘Kumbaya’ by the campfire.

The techniques used in this course have been proven to be effective in creating a calmer mindset and more positive lifestyle.

Studies have shown meditation strengthens the areas of the brain responsible for concentration, problem solving and feelings of wellbeing – making us happier.

Neuroscientist Eileen Luders says the following about meditation, “We know that people who consistently meditate have a singular ability to cultivate positive emotions, retain emotional stability, and engage in mindful behaviour.”

“My kids are too young/too old for this to work”

The skills and tools covered in this program are appropriate for all ages, from toddlers to teenagers.

The mindfulness skills are even effective if you have a newborn baby in the house!

“I’m too set in my ways to change”

I promise you – if you want to make changes, you will make changes! The course starts slowly introducing the basic foundations of mindful parenting and giving you opportunities to practice before building on these skills each week.
